How does it work?

Over four sessions we take you through the process of having a gastric band fitted, only in your mind. By using suggestion and visualisation, your mind will be convinced that your stomach has become smaller and that you need less food. By eating less and less often you will begin to lose weight. The process uses hypnotherapy and cognitive behavioural techniques to help you achieve your ideal weight - and stay there!

Each session in the Hypno-Band system lasts for one hour and before beginning the process a full assessment will be carried out.

What do you get for your money?

The HYPNO-BAND system comprises of four, one hour sessions plus a cd or mp3 recording which you use for reinforcement. A full dietary and medical history will be taken and an initial assessment done during the first session. Also in the first session you will be introduced to hypnosis and experience the fantastic feelings of relaxation and calmness. We will also begin your journey to losing weight. In the second session you will encounter the HYPNO-BAND and we will begin the process of having the virtual gastric band fitted. In the third session the HYPNO-BAND virtual gastric band will be fitted and adjusted. In the fourth and final session the process will be reinforced and you will learn a different way of eating.
